A Note on the Data Structure

  • Each Wildfire is categorized into an “Operational Theater”, which a geographic location and date range.

  • Each Operational Theater has many “Organizations” assigned to it to fight that fire.

  • Each Organization has many 1) Personel, and many 2) Assets

  • Assets are large equipment that are brought to bare against the fire such as Drones, Fire Airplanes, Helicopters, Trucks, etc.

  • Each personnel and asset has at least one geolocation transmitting device.

Low Latency Bandwidth Solution

  • Leverages satellite based solutions from Resudox Solutions LLC to combat low latency bandwidth issues.  This includes handing out personal devices, (Iridium Go!, Iridium Push-to-Talk, Garmin InReach, and/or GoTenna Pro X), and or  Larger Equipment (and more bandwidth) – vehicle-based such as  Iridium Certus.

  • All firefighters register and receive hotspot.  Smart devices are provided if needed.

  • All devices must be authenticated

  • All user can have more than one device (smartphone, smartwatch, Iridium Go!,)

Rollout

  • Expect to test WildFire Overwatch on small local fires and in large state/federal exercises.

  • We have commitment Partnering with NSIN, the State of California and Federal Entities would be welcome
