A Note on the Data Structure
Each Wildfire is categorized into an “Operational Theater”, which a geographic location and date range.
Each Operational Theater has many “Organizations” assigned to it to fight that fire.
Each Organization has many 1) Personel, and many 2) Assets
Assets are large equipment that are brought to bare against the fire such as Drones, Fire Airplanes, Helicopters, Trucks, etc.
Each personnel and asset has at least one geolocation transmitting device.
Low Latency Bandwidth Solution
Leverages satellite based solutions from Resudox Solutions LLC to combat low latency bandwidth issues. This includes handing out personal devices, (Iridium Go!, Iridium Push-to-Talk, Garmin InReach, and/or GoTenna Pro X), and or Larger Equipment (and more bandwidth) – vehicle-based such as Iridium Certus.
All firefighters register and receive hotspot. Smart devices are provided if needed.
All devices must be authenticated
All user can have more than one device (smartphone, smartwatch, Iridium Go!,)
Rollout
Expect to test WildFire Overwatch on small local fires and in large state/federal exercises.
We have commitment Partnering with NSIN, the State of California and Federal Entities would be welcome
